Entries have now closed, as the race is full, and there will be no entries on the day of the race itself.
If you have entered, thank you for choosing the 2021 Bromley Midsummer Evening 10k.
An e-mail has been sent out to every entrant with full instructions on what to bring to the 10k (please check your junk mail if you haven't seen it yet) and how to collect your race number from registration.
Remember to bring a facemask when collecting your number and a pen for writing your medical details on the rear of your race number and also four safety pins for attaching your race number to your vest.
Also, bring your own water before and after the race. Water will only be available during the 10k at the water stations at 4k and 7k.
And please go to the loo before coming along to avoid queues at the Covid restricted entry system at the toilets at the track.
And please please remember to observe social distancing at all times.
Race bibs (including the timing chip on the rear) will be available for collection from 6.00 pm on the day of the race from our friendly registration teams inside Norman Park.
A medal & also a race memento, both made in England, to all finishers, with trophies available to winning individuals and team prizes.
Please note there is a finishing cut-off time of 1 hour and 30 minutes due to the need to vacate Norman Park by 9.30 pm when it is closed by Bromley Council's security contractor. Runners will also need to reach the first water station at the 4k mark within 36 mins from the start. Runners who are unable to meet those times may find that the remaining part of their 10k run will be unsupported by the last marshall runners and the course markers may be dismantled before they reach the end of the event. Should this happen, please make your way back to the start of the 10k by retracing your steps and advise the nearest marshall of your action.
